ISLAMABAD: Four more days of physical remand of accused Shahnawaz Amir in the Sara Inam murder case have been approved.
The Sara Inam murder case was heard in the local court of Islamabad. The main accused Shahnawaz, son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, was produced in court.
Ayaz Amir’s lawyer said that Ayaz Amir should be given custody of the mobile phone. The judge ordered to return the mobile phone if there is no objection.
The police asked the court for another 5-day physical remand of Shahnawaz Amir, the investigating officer said in the court that the details of the account have to be taken, and the accused had been asking for money at different times.
The judge asked the police how many days of remand has been done. The investigating officer said that to date 5 days of physical remand have been done. Later, the court approved another 4-day physical remand of the main accused Shahnawaz Amir.

It should be noted that Shahnawaz Amir, son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, killed his wife Sara. Ayaz Mir’s daughter-in-law had returned from Dubai and Shahnawaz was addicted to drugs and killed his wife in a drunken state.
Shahnawaz Amir had his third marriage with Sara of Canadian origin while the deceased Sara was working in Dubai and both of them got married three months ago.
