Bollywood star Salman Khan has refused Rs. 20 crores for his guest appearance in Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi starter movie ‘Godfather’.
The actor has started shooting for a very special guest appearance, an extended cameo, in the Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather. A source close to the project said that he has made it very clear that he would not accept a single penny for his work.
According to the source, Chiranjeevi’s producers wanted to pay Salman Rs. 15-20 crores for his guest appearance in Godfather. However, Khan refused and told Chiranjeevi he would not do the cameo if they insisted on paying him.

Salman’s words to Chiranjeevi were, “If I was to ask you to do a role in my film would you charge for it? The question left Chiranjeevi moved and speechless.”
Salman has a 20-minute appearance in the movie. He will be shooting for a week. Godfather is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language political action thriller film directed by Mohan Raja and produced by Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films.
It is a remake of the Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’. The film stars Chiranjeevi in the titular role alongside Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana. It also marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actor Salman Khan who plays a crucial cameo in the film.
The movie features music by S. Thaman and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Principal photography of the film began in August 2021 with filming taking place in Hyderabad, Ooty, and Mumbai.
