Bollywood actor Salman Khan has once again become the target of a death threat. On
Monday morning, a threatening message was sent to the WhatsApp helpline of the Mumbai Traffic Police, warning that the actor would be killed in his home and his car blown up with a bomb.
The Mumbai Police have registered a complaint and launched an investigation into the matter.
The actor, who resides with his family at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai, has faced similar threats in the past. Last year, gunmen linked to the Bishnoi gang fired shots outside his residence, prompting authorities to enhance his security. This latest incident marks the fifth death threat Salman Khan has received in the last two years.
Authorities are now working to trace the origin of the message and identify those responsible.
Over the years, Salman and his family, including his father Salim Khan, have been subjected to multiple threats. In a separate incident last year, Mumbai Police uncovered a plot to assassinate the actor at his Panvel farmhouse, where shooters allegedly monitored his movements.
