MOSCOW: Russia has described Pakistan as an important foreign policy partner and said that we are ready to strengthen trade and economic relations.
Congratulating the Pakistani people on Pakistan Day, Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova said that Islamabad is an important foreign policy partner of Moscow and a lot of diplomatic work has been done for friendly relations.
Maria Zakharova said in a statement that constructive political talks are taking place between Pakistan and Russia, while Moscow and Islamabad have close positions on important issues with global and regional agendas.
