We love to eat burgers and sandwiches? But would you like to eat a red burger or a yellow one?
Two youngsters in Karachi have started selling colourful burgers which have become the newest fad in town.
Nestled in a spot near Char Minar in Bahadurabad, two friends have set up the ‘Roadside Broskis’ and the long sandwiches and burgers are gaining immense popularity.
The burger makers tell us they named it ‘Roadside Broskis’ because they are on the roadside and they both are close like brothers.
He said they focus more on burgers than sandwiches. The chicken sandwich is filled with fresh veggies and sauces and are fresh and healthy.
Why did they use colour buns? He said they got the idea as it was unique and no one else was using it in Karachi. The red colour is for spicy sandwiches while the yellow one is mild. He said they have presented the colours as flavours.
The young seller, who is himself a student, said the items are prepared at home by his mother and then sandwiches are made by them. He said their sandwiches are popular and loved by their customers. Some are hesitant over the red and yellow buns but ended up enjoying them.
They are a wide variety of seven sauces and 5-6 types of veggies at the customer’s choice. They use chicken tikka sauce for the spicy red sandwich and peri-peri for the mild one.
The red sandwich has been named ‘Redster’ and the yellow one ‘Boomster’. They are being for Rs260 each and juices are for Rs70. Now let’s head to try some tasty colourful burgers.
