RAWALPINDI: The Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has urged upon the judiciary to consider the possibility of success or failure of negotiations before making any decision regarding elections in Punjab.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Sheikh Rashid said that a decision on whether elections will be held or negotiations will halt the electoral process would be made by May 10. He added that regardless of the outcome, the judiciary, constitution, and law will triumph.

The AML Chief reaffirmed his stance that elections would be held, albeit 10 days earlier or later. He further stated that the nation expects important decisions from the Supreme Court this week.
He also questioned what happened to the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and alleged that the audio of the prime minister and foreign minister playing with videos and audios was leaked. Sheikh Rashid claimed that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is facing internal differences and is in disarray.
