ISLAMABAD: The inflation rate increased by 0.20 percent on a weekly basis across the country.
The Federal Bureau of Statistics has released the inflation report on a weekly basis, in which it was stated that the rate of inflation for those with a monthly income of Rs 17,733 to Rs 22,888 has been 36.51 percent, while 19 essential items have become expensive in the country in recent weeks. , 12 became cheaper while the prices of 20 remained stable.

According to the report, 19 items of basic necessities including potato, tomato, garlic, lentil mash, sugar, laundry soap, beef, mutton, raw milk, curd, jaggery, flour, salt, and broken rice have become expensive.
During the week, the prices of 12 commodities including LPG, moong dal, dal masoor, gram dal, egg, onion, chicken, and cooking oil fell and prices of 20 essential commodities remained stable.
