ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday predicted hot and humid weather in most parts of the country.
The weather in different parts of the country, including Islamabad, has turned pleasant due to rain.
Heavy rain in Islamabad broke the heatwave, on the other hand, waterlogged roads caused problems for residents. Heavy and light rain was also recorded in different parts of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Balochistan.
The weather turned pleasant after a light rain and torrential rains in different parts of Karachi. More rain is expected in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir.
Rain with strong winds and thundershowers is also expected in some districts of Gilgit-Baltistan. The highest rainfall of 47 mm was recorded in Chakwal district of Punjab, 23 mm in Islamabad, 15 mm in Rawalpindi and Bahawalnagar, and 12 mm in Multan.
