LONDON: Railway workers have observed a complete wheel jam strike, the biggest strike in three decades. Due to the strike, people are facing severe difficulties in getting around.
According to foreign media reports, 40,000 employees have gone on strike by the Railway Union for not increasing their salaries. The strike will cause disruption across England, Scotland, and Wales.
Union members gathered in front of several stations to protest. According to the British media, only 20 percent of the trains are running and there is an extraordinary rush on the buses and roads.
The railway union has threatened more strikes next month. According to the union, railway workers will also go on strike on Thursday and Saturday.
