Punjab schools to observe ‘Speak Truth’ month in January

All government schools across Punjab will observe January 2025 as “Speak Truth” month, a new initiative aimed at promoting honesty and integrity among students.

The Punjab School Education Department has issued instructions to all district Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) to implement this initiative, which encourages students to embrace truthfulness in their everyday lives.

During this month, teachers will deliver special lectures focused on the importance of speaking the truth. They will also engage students in discussions to inspire them to incorporate honesty into their daily interactions.

The program will run from January 13 to January 31, 2025, with schools actively promoting the message of truth throughout the month. Heads of government schools have been directed to submit photographs and reports documenting the activities related to the “Speak Truth” initiative to the educational authorities by the end of the month.

This initiative is part of the Punjab government’s ongoing efforts to instill ethical values in students and foster a culture of transparency and integrity in schools.
