New social media policy created for protection of citizens: Firdous

LAHORE: Special Assistant to Chief Minister of Punjab for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the development of backward areas is first priority of the PM Imran government.

in a tweet, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Usman Buzdar has announced a plan for the university in Rajanpur, Girls Degree College in Rojhan, and trauma center in DHQ Hospital.

Rs300 million will be used to construct 34 veterinary clinics while Rs 400 million have been allocated for sewerage and drainage system, the CM’s aide informed.

She further said that Rajanpur was ignored by past governments but now Usman Buzdar is visiting far-flung areas to know the problems of the masses and is taking every possible step to solve these issues.

Earlier, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif squandered his own party’s funds.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Shehbaz Sharif had squandered his party’s funds of Rs. 51.52 million. He collected from members of the National, Provincial Assembly, and private housing society owners.

Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that according to the documents, the money was transferred to Rashid Karamat’s Nisar Trading Company account.
