LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is scheduled to chair a meeting of the provincial cabinet today.
Provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, chief secretary, and other concerned officials will be attending the meeting.
The cabinet meeting will be held at the CM’s Office where the 22-point agenda will be discussed.

Punjab Cabinet will approve Punjab Forest Policy while Punjab Wildlife Protect Act will be tabled for approval.
The Cabinet will review amendments to the Protection of Violence against Women Act, while the cabinet will also approve the draft of the Protection of Domestic Workers Act.

Earlier in October, Usman Buzdar assured that Lahore would be made a smart city by 2025.
Speaking to a delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Huawei Pakistan Saif Chi, he said that digital monitoring through Safe City Authority would help in overcoming crimes and digital monitoring would also be started in major cities of the province in a phased manner.
