LAHORE: The first meeting of the Punjab Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz will be held today in which political and economic issues of the province will be discussed.
According to details, Hamza Shehbaz is the first Chief Minister in the history of Punjab whose cabinet took office a month after he was sworn in. The first meeting of the Punjab Cabinet is also taking place 31 days after the Chief Minister was sworn in.
CM Hamza Shehbaz will preside over the first historic meeting of the Punjab Cabinet. Provincial ministers were invited to attend the meeting. The cabinet meeting will review the law and order situation in different provinces of the province.

It may be recalled that earlier a major political breakthrough was witnessed in Punjab province. In the first phase, the eight-member provincial cabinet took the oath of office. Governor Punjab administered oaths to the cabinet members.
Eight members of the Punjab Cabinet attended the swearing-in ceremony yesterday. Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman administered the oath to the cabinet members while Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shahbaz was present on the occasion and congratulated the provincial ministers.
