KARACHI: Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Tuesday has said that so far no names have been suggested by the federal government for the post of Inspector General Police Sindh.
In his statement, Murtaza Wahab said that in the letter to the federal government three names for IGP Sindh have been suggested by the provincial government but so far they have not received any response from the center over the matter.

He further said the federal government did not suggest names to Sindh province for the top police chief position and hoped that the name of the new IGP Sindh will soon be decided.
The spokesman for the Sindh government said the provincial government has asked the federal government to pick a name from the suggested names of three officers such as Punjab and other provinces.
