PTI announces new office bearers of central organisation
ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced new members of the central organisation as part of structural reorganisation in the party.
According to a party notification, Chaudhry Fawad Chaudhry, Azam Khan Swati, Khan Muhammad Jamali has been appointed as Senior Vice President. Ejaz Chaudhry, Ibrahim Khan, Aftab Siddiqui, Advocate Attaullah, Atif Khan, Hamid-ul-Haq, Naseebullah Marri, and Nawabzada Shareef Jogezai have been appointed as Vice President.
Meanwhile, Sardar Khadim Hussain Wardak, Sheikh Khurram Shehzad, and Khurram Sher Zaman was appointed as Deputy Secretary General. Maula Bux Soomro, Shahid Khattak, Zubair Niazi and Malik Faisal Dehwar have been named as Join Secretary.
Prime Minister Imran had dissolved the organisational structure and bodies of the PTI after the dismal performance in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa election. PTI has appointed its 20-member Central Advisory Committee of the party.
The members of Central Advisory Committee included PTI Asad Umar, Aamir Mahmood Kiani, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, Pervez Khattak, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Shafqat Mahmood, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar, Imran Ismail, Qasim Khan Suri, Ali Amin Gandapur, Asad Qaiser, Ali Haider Zaidi, Hammad Azhar, Mahmood Khan, Shireen Mazari, Saifullah Niazi, Usman Buzdar, Chaudry Muhammad Sarwar, Murad Saeed and Khan Muhammad Jamali.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan had appointed Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi as the party’s Vice Chairman.
Minister for Defence Pervaiz Khattak had been appointed PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Minister for Federal Education Shafqat Mahmood as PTI Punjab President and Minister for Industries and Production Makhdoom Khusru Bakhtiar as PTI south Punjab President.
Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi was appointed as PTI Sindh President and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri was named PTI Balochistan President. Aamir Mahmood Kiyani was appointed as Additional General Secretary.
