PSX crashes after Pervez Musharraf’s high treason verdict

PSX continues to surge after Eid break
KARACHI: Pakistan Stock Exchange earlier today crashed after Special Court announced the high treason case verdict against former President Pervez Musharraf but recovered soon.
It lost almost 500 points just moments after the verdict in the high treason case was announced. It dropped and surged again by recovering 200 points. A slight upward trend was maintained in trading earlier today hitting an intraday peak of 42,056 points.
Earlier on Monday, the PSX market closed on a positive note at 41,644.88 points with a positive change of 728.29 points.
