In the latest promo for the Super Soul Sunday series hosted by Oprah Winfrey who recently invited Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra can become another controversial interview after the actress’ strange statement made on Islam.
After the much-talked-about tell-all with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. The Sky Is Pink actress will be seen talking about her personal life, spiritual beliefs, her memoir ‘Unforgettable’, and her religious views speaking on which the actress may face a backlash over her controversial statement on religion.
During the show, while describing how she had been influenced by different religions throughout her life, ranging from Christianity and Islam to Hinduism, Chopra can be quoted saying that how she is well aware of Islam.

While further explaining she revealed that she belongs to a country where all faiths are celebrated. “Spirituality is such a large part of India that you really cannot ignore it.” According to Chopra, she is fortunate to have a family where she has seen his father singing in a mosque that made her well aware of Islam, her mother worshipping in a temple, and herself studying in a convent school.
“I am a Hindu. I pray and have a temple in my home. I do it as often as I can. But true to me, I am a believer that a higher power does exist and I like to have faith in that,” she said.
However, Chopra’s statement regarding her father ‘singing’ in a mosque might become a controversial statement as one cannot ‘sing’ in a mosque, the correct word is ‘recite’, a person cannot sing any verses at any condition in a holy mosque.
