KARACHI: On the directions of Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Secretary Local Government Sindh Roshan Ali Shaikh has instructed the field staff to adopt the precautionary measures while performing duties.
Secretary Local Government was on the visit to different areas where he inspected the overall situation of the cleanliness and garbage transfer stations.
Roshan critically monitored the performance of the staff members and directed them to adopt the preventive measures already been provided to them, while performing the duties.
“We all are working together in an abnormal phase to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the people, but we also have to save ourselves and others from any mishap, so everyone must follow the precautionary guide lines by using the provided uniforms, sanitizers, gloves, masks and other protective things”.
Describing the Sind Government’s policy for the relief and cure Secretary said “Government of Sindh cannot take any risk on the lives and hygiene of the people, as Minister Local Government is focused to take the people out from crises as soon as possible”.
Shaikh urged the Municipal and Deputy Commissioners to monitor the cleanliness and garbage transfer activities personally on daily basis,
“No street or lane should be left without proper cleaning regularly. No Negligence would be tolerated in this regard. Take strict disciplinary action against the non-performers”. Secretary urged the officials to keep him updated on regular basis.
