Dera Ismail Khan: A powerful explosion occurred near the Police Training Center in the Dattakhel area of Dera Ismail Khan on Friday, followed by reports of gunfire, officials confirmed.
According to initial reports, the blast was so intense that it shook nearby houses, and the sound was heard from a considerable distance, causing panic and fear among residents.
Soon after the explosion, security forces and police contingents rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the blast or the extent of casualties, while rescue operations and investigations are currently underway.
