Karachi Water Corporation has reported that the water supply system at the Dhabeji Pumping Station has been affected due to a power breakdown.
According to the Karachi Water Corporation, three major pumps at the K-2 Pumping Station have temporarily stopped operating due to the fault, causing Karachi to face a shortage of approximately 100 million gallons of water per day.
Water supply has been temporarily suspended in North Nazimabad, Federal B Area, and Buffer Zone.

Moreover, parts of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13-D, Gulistan-e-Johar, and Scheme 33 are also experiencing temporary disruptions in water supply.
The Karachi Water Corporation said that once repair work is completed, water supply will be restored gradually in phases.
