QUETTA: At least one policeman was martyred and 10 others including five passersby were wounded in a blast that occurred near Zarghoon Road.
The blast occurred on Tuesday near a vehicle of security forces. An emergency was declared in Civil Hospital.
The injured were shifted to the hospital. Security forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area.
According to rescue officials, a loud explosion took place on Double Road in front of a famous car showroom. The law enforcement force was the apparent target in the attack.

Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Lango condemned the blast. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the relatives of the martyred and injured persons.
The minister directed authorities to ensure the best possible treatment of the wounded persons.
