Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a policeman and his two accomplices in Lahore who were involved in selling narcotics through drones, media reported on Monday.
As per the reports, the Lahore police constable namely Waqas was performing his duties in the Anti-Riot Force and selling drugs via drones.
Sources further said that the policeman and his colleagues were residing in the border area while police also recovered drone service cards and narcotics from their possession.
Anti-Narcotics Force registered a case against the accused persons and started an investigation.
Meanwhile, in another crime case in Punjab, police in Rawalpindi on Monday registered an FIR against a lawyer for allegedly raping his female client.
The woman, in her complaint, said that she had met Advocate Iftikhar Hussain in connection with the case of separation from her husband. “The lawyer said he would marry me once I get separated from my husband.”
But instead of marrying her, the complainant added, Iftikhar took her to different places where he raped her. “And now when I have conceived a child, he still refuses to marry me,” the woman said.
