The iPhone 16 series has officially launched in Pakistan.
Apple earlier unveiled the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, both crafted with “aerospace-grade aluminum” and featuring a new color-infused back glass. These devices are available in ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. The iPhone 16 comes with a 6.1-inch display, while the iPhone 16 Plus offers a larger 6.7-inch screen. Both models have a peak brightness of 2000 nits and can dim to as low as 1 nit in low-light environments.
Apple has also introduced the Action Button on the standard models, allowing users to quickly access features like voice memos, song identification, or phrase translation. The button is customizable with shortcuts or can be used for in-app functionality, such as locking or unlocking a car through the FordPass app.

PTA tax rates for iPhone 16 series
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has set the tax rates for the iPhone 16 series, starting from Rs128,000 and going up to Rs213,000 for premium variants.
The iPhone 16 is equipped with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, offering a resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels and a brightness of up to 2000 nits. Powered by the Apple A18 chip and 8GB of RAM, it comes with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.Models
