SWABI: Police on Friday claimed to have apprehended an accused who allegedly shot dead two women to settle his score over a petty dispute of delayed payment in Swabi area of Khyber Pakhtunkwa.
According to an official statement issued on Friday, after receiving information about the incident, police rushed to the site and found the bodies inside their home.
SHO Shafique Ahmed along with his team shifted the bodies to the hospital for medico-legal formalities and sealed the crime scene to collect the forensic evidence.
Meanwhile, taking notice of the incident, DPO Swabi Imran Shahid formed an investigation team led by SP Investigation Swabi Banaras Khan Taj Muhammad Khan.
The applicant, Moin Khan a resident of Jalsai Mohallah, told the police that his neighbour, Miramaan Shah is suspected of killing his family members as he had a verbal spat with him over the issue of late payment.
Moin in his application stated that accused, a resident of same neighbourhood worked for him in Islamabad as a labourer and they had engaged in an altercation over the payment of Rs 4,000.
During the initial investigation, the accused confessed that he had killed the mother and daughter out of resentment as he had to face immense difficulties due to the non-payment of his wage.
