How to Check Your Eligibility (Step-by-Step)
There are three primary ways to verify if your CNIC is selected for the 2026 package.

1. The SMS Method (Fastest)
This is the most accessible way for those without internet access.

  • Option A (Federal): SMS your 13-digit CNIC number (without dashes) to 9999 or 8171.
  • Option B (Punjab Only): SMS your CNIC to 8070 to check for the provincial top-up.

Response: You will receive an instant message confirming your eligibility status.

2. Online Web Portal

  • For real-time tracking, use the official BISP/government portals:
  • Visit the 8171 Web Portal or the dedicated PM Relief Portal (pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk).
  • Enter your 13-digit CNIC and the captcha code.
  • The system will display your status: Eligible, Ineligible, or Under Process.

3. The Helpline
A 24/7 control room has been established to resolve queries. If you face issues with SMS delivery, you can call the official helpline established at the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC).

Important Safety Tips

  • The government does not charge any fee for this registration. Avoid anyone asking for “service charges.”
  • Only trust messages from 9999, 8171, or 8070. Ignore private numbers claiming to be government agents.

Payments

Funds are transferred via verified banks, biometric ATMs, or designated payment centers.
