ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged citizens to donate towards the ‘COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund-2020’ that has recently been set up.
In a tweet, the prime minister appealed that he wanted everyone to donate money to the fund as it would help the government in combating the deadly coronavirus pandemic, that has been spreading across the country.
Prime Minister’s COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Fund-2020 has been set up to help us fight this pandemic. I want everyone to donate towards this fund which will be used to take care of all those who have been made destitute by the lockdown.

The prime minister also said that by contributing money, this fund would help all those who had become impoverished by the lockdown. He also mentioned details of the bank account where people can donate.

He earlier today addressed the medical staff at the inauguration ceremony at the Cantonment General Hospital in Rawalpindi where he said that the whole nation stands with the health workers of the country. These health workers were the topmost priority of the country, he added.
