PM to leave for two-day visit to Saudi Arabia today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia today to highlight the grave situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).
The prime minister will meet with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and United Arab Emirates King, he will brief the Saudi leadership on the situation in Indian occupied Kashmir during his two-day trip.
The prime minister has been in regular a contact on the Kashmir issue with Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman as well, while the two leaders also had a telephonic conversation after Monday’s attack that has had an adverse impact on the kingdom’s oil output as well as global oil prices.
Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Advisor Finance, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Advisor to PM on Commerce, Abdur Razzaq Daud and other officials will accompany Prime Minister.
The prime minister is also expected to discuss with the Kingdom’s rulers ways of further strengthening the economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Traditionally marked by warmth and mutual trust, the prime minister’s visit to the Kingdom was expected to further reinforce the close fraternal Pakistan-Saudi relations and deepen bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
