ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to visit Mianwali today to lay the foundation stone of Mother and Child Hospital.
The prime minister will also place the foundation of the University of Mianwali and Sargodha-Mianwali Road.

Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar and Punjab Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid will accompany him for the occasion.
The premier will also review the ongoing development projects in Mianwali.

The Punjab government has already transferred eight doctors from other districts to District Hospital Mianwali to meet the shortage of trained doctors.

In this regard, strict security measures have been taken across the city for the expected visit of the prime minister.

Earlier, Imran Khan had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump where Trump thanked the prime minister for his efforts conveying the release of Western hostages from Afghanistan.
