ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to inaugurate three-day Asia Regional Conference on climate change today on Wednesday.
The advisor on climate change, Malik Amin Aslam revealed that the PM will inaugurate the conference in Islamabad, said sources.
According to the advisor, the conference will highlight the environmental challenges that Asian countries have been facing.

The conference will discuss the major issue of increasing environmental pollution and the ways to tackle it.
Earlier on Monday, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the largest-ever Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program under which fifty thousand scholarships will be provided to undergraduates each year.
Addressing the lauch ceremony, the prime minister hoped that the scholarships to deserving and talented students will give them an opportunity to excel in life. He said the poor-friendly Ehsaas programme will bring a remarkable change in various areas of society, and the scholarships programme is a big step towards higher education.

PM Imran Khan said allocating quota for physically-challenged persons and females is an indication that government believes in inclusive policies for the development of the country. He said women are the builders of the family and the nation, and this scholarship will help them bring to mainstream.
