Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a commission to assess the losses resulting from the Pakistan-India war that occurred at the beginning of May. The name of the commission’s head has also been announced.
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Interior Secretary Khurram Agha as the head of the commission formed to assess the losses from the Pakistan-India war.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Riffat Mukhtar has been appointed as the commission’s convener. The 15-member commission includes key figures such as the Additional Chief Secretary of Azad Kashmir and the Home Secretary of Punjab.
This commission assessing the losses from the Pakistan-India war will present its report to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif within the next 30 days. The report will include details of human and financial losses.
Data on civilians martyred and injured during India’s aggression in Pakistan at the start of May will be collected, and the Ministry of Interior will be responsible for providing all necessary facilities to the commission.
The commission will also gather information regarding the design and mechanism of Indian weapons, and evidence will be collected concerning the violations of international laws committed by India during this time.
