ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for the formation of PTI for which consultations were held with Federal Ministers Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi, Amir Kayani, Pervez Khattak, Shafqat Mahmood, and Qasim Suri.
According to details, the prime minister, after consulting on the organization, decided to nominate the officials of the central organization in the first phase. Later nominations should also be made for Punjab, KPK, Sindh, Balochistan, and South Punjab.
During the meeting, the prime minister sought the proposed names for the central and provincial organizations and directed that the names be provided within a week. The reorganization of the party will be completed as soon as possible so that political activities can be resumed.
It may be recalled that earlier PM Imran Khan had announced a new organization of PTI, under which Federal Minister Asad Umar will be the new Secretary-General of PTI, Pervez Khattak will be the President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Zaidi, Qasim Suri Balochistan, and Shafqat Mehmood will be the President of Punjab.

Khusro Bakhtiar was made the President of South Punjab. Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry had informed about the decision of PM Imran Khan regarding the reorganization of PTI through his Twitter account three days before today.
