Govt hikes petrol price again by Rs 5.15 per litre

ISLAMABAD: A summary to hike the petrol price was approved by Prime Minister Imran Khan on late Wednesday.
Prime Minister declared the Oil and Gas Development Authority’s (OGRA) suggestion of increased cost of oil by Rs5.15 per litre.
Per-litre prices of all petroleum products increased with petrol, diesel, kerosene oil, and light diesel now cost higher by Rs5.15, Rs5.65, Rs5.38 and Rs8.90 per litre, respectively.
The new prices for a litre of petrol, diesel, kerosene oil, and light diesel areRs117.83, Rs132.47, Rs103.84, and Rs90.52 per litre, respectively.
The new prices come into effect from today. Earlier, the OGRA recommended that the respective per-litre prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene oil, and light diesel to be raised to  Rs117.83, Rs135.72, Rs103.84, and Rs94.27.
