ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the prime minister has fulfilled his promise with the Sikh community.

Firdous Ashiq Awan posted on twitter, “The establishment of Baba Guru Nanak University is another fulfillment of Imran Khan’s promise with the Sikh community.”
Ashiq Awan said, “It is his fulfillment of promise with the Sikh community.”

The special assistant added that the seeds of interfaith harmony they have sown in the form of Kartarpur Corridor would bring tolerance among believers of different faiths.

Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Baba Guru Nanak University earlier today at 11:00 am.
The University will work to promote religious tourism in the country, besides serving as a community centre for the Sikh community-based in Pakistan and abroad.
