PM directs officials to strictly monitor ‘Ehsaas Program’

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s focal person on poverty alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar has said that Imran Khan directed the officials to strictly monitor transparency in ‘Ehsaas Program’.

Dr. Sania Nishtar also the chairman of the Ehsaas Program initiative, said, “Under the guidance and supervision of the Prime Minister, the team would ensure that the benefits of the program reach the deserving.”

She said that the prime minister asked her to ensure transparency in the social welfare program at all costs.
The prime minister gave formal approval for governance and integrity policies related to the program that consisted of 27 points entailing relaying of resources, tenders, hiring, and sales.
