ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a federal cabinet meeting today to discuss the economic and political situation in the country.
A 13-point agenda of the federal cabinet meeting has also been issued. The preparation and issuance of the official map of Pakistan is also part of the agenda and a briefing on the performance of the National Information Technology Board will also be discussed.
In the meeting chaired by the prime minister, the cabinet will be briefed on the payment of dues of media houses, and gas distribution projects will also be briefed to the cabinet.
The reshuffle of the Korangi Fisheries Harbor Authority board will be part of the agenda, while the cabinet will be briefed on economic growth and economic indicators.
A progress report on institutional reforms will also be tabled in the cabinet. Approval for the appointment of the CEO of the USF company under the Ministry of IT is also on the agenda.
