ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Bashir, a physically challenged man from Mansehra, has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan for employment, saying that his contract as Naib Qasid at Islamabad airport will soon expire and his job would be lost.
Talking to M.M News, Muhammad Bashir shared his sufferings and appealed to the Prime Minister to transfer him in another department of Islamabad airport as his contract as Naib Qasid would soon expire.
“I was recruited as a Naib Qasid at New Islamabad Airport 4 years ago. Now my contract will soon expire. My monthly salary is only Rs20,000 and I am living in a rented quarter in Rawalpindi. I have two children and my wife is mentally ill, and her treatment is costing a lot,” he added.
Muhammad Bashir said despite being physically challenged he never begged or allowed his disability to become a compulsion in this regard. “I have filed several applications with Federal Aviation Ministry for a permanent job, but nothing happened,” he claimed.
Muhammad Bashir appealed to the Prime Minister of Pakistan to give him a permanent job in another department at the Islamabad airport “so that I can feed my family with dignity”.
