While every team participating in Pakistan Super League (PSL) tries to up its audio-visual game every year, Peshawar Zalmi has come up with another amazing anthem for this year’s biggest game.
Owned by Javed Afridi with Darren Sammy’s name attached, Peshawar Zalmi played a big role in bringing international players to Pakistan thus increasing the already present love for Peshawar in the hearts of Pakistanis.
The new Zalmi anthem has been sung by Naughty Boy, Khumaariyan, Zahoor, Bilaal Avaz, and Altamash while Hamza Ali Abbasi and Mahira Khan are back with a bang.
Last week, the official anthem for PSL 8 was launched. The three-minute-fourteen-second ‘Sab Sitaray Humaray’ features Shae Gill, Asim Azhar, and Faris Shafi.

Young musician Abdullah Siddiqui composed this year’s PSL anthem. The anthem aims to celebrate our ‘sitaray’ (stars), who don their favorite jerseys and come to the stadium to cheer for their teams.
