Peshawar Zalmi coach Darren Sammy reaches Karachi

Pakistan Super League (PSL 6)’s Peshawar Zalmi Coach Darren Sammy has reached Karachi.
Upon his arrival, Darren Sammy expressed, “I am happy to be a part of Pakistan Super League and Peshawar Zalmi once again.” He also urged the cricket lovers about safety regarding the coronavirus, “Everyone enjoys cricket but be careful wearing masks.”
Besides Sammy, Ravi Bopara will arrive in Karachi today, while Rutherford and Mujeebur Rehman will be in the city tomorrow. On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz, Shoaib Malik, Imam-ul-Haq, and Kamran Akmal have already joined the team.
Other foreign players are also coming to be a part of PSL 2021, foreign players of Karachi Kings Chadwick Walton, Colin Ingram, Afghan cricketer Noor Ahmed and head coach Herschelle Gibbs arrived in Karachi yesterday.

The players will be tested for COVID-19 once the whole squad assembles. When the reports are cleared, the players and officials will go to a bio-secure bubble till their training session starts on 15th February.
The opening match between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators will be played on 20th February. So far, Karachi King’s head coach Herschelle Gibbs and squad members Chadwick Walton, Colin Ingram, and Noor Ahmed have reached already the port city. Players from Islamabad United, Quetta Gladiators, and Lahore Qalandar will also visit Karachi.
