Peace in Karachi is vital for Pakistan’s security: COAS

KARACHI: Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that peace in Karachi was vital for the security of Pakistan.

During a visit to Corps Headquarters and Malir Garrison in Karachi, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that peace in national economic hub Karachi is vital for the security and stability of Pakistan.

The army chief also hailed the performance of Pakistan Rangers Sindh in maintaining improved security in the metropolitan.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa stated that efforts would continue to maintain normalcy in Karachi and the province.

Later, Bajwa addressed officers of Malir Garrison, he appreciated officers for their professional excellence towards defense and security of the country.
