PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is all set to hold a rally in Swat today on Sunday.
A delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) d under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif will also participate in the public gathering. He will be accompanied by party leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Amir Muqam and Marriyam Aurangzeb.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who was recently discharged from hospital, will address the public rally at Grassy Ground Swat.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) would not participate in the rally after they quit the multi-party alliance back in April. PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was discharged from hospital on Friday and was all set to host the rally in Swat,
A close aide of Maulana Fazl said he had some serious health complications and was discharged from hospital after eight days of treatment. He reached Islamabad from Karachi and to mobilise party workers for the rally.
Fida Lehri, a senior leader of JUI said that all parties of PDM have completed their preparations for upcoming Swat rally and will show the street power on July 4.
He said that PDM still stood on its earlier stance and will keep fighting till the end. He concluded that PDM through its street power will show the final door to the selected government of Imran Khan.
Last month, the PDM had announced to restart its public rallies and protests across the country and had announced to hold a rally in Karachi on July 29.
