KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board has invited twelve cricketers to the National Cricket Academy for a high-performance camp.
PCB Director Academies, Mudassar Nazar said, “The aim of this camp is to prepare a backup for the current squad. PCB will try to sharpen their skills during the camp.”
The two-week high-performance camp at the National Cricket Academy will kick off from 23rd August 2019.
Umer Khan, Ahsan Jameel Mirza, Arshad Ullah, Zahid Mehmood, Mohammad Jalal, Mohammad Asad, Mohammad Amir Hussain, Faisal Akram, Arshad Iqbal, Aakif Javed will attend the high-performance camp.
The camp has three stages. In the first round U-16 players were trained, while the second round featured U-19 cricketers of the country. The third stage of the camp will have promising cricketers from all around the country including aggressive fast bowlers Musa Khan and Haris Rauf.
