PESHAWAR: Famous Pashto singer Mahjabeen Qazalbash has died of a heart attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
According to reports, Mahjabeen Qazalbash was admitted to Lady Reading Hospital (MTI) in Peshawar two months ago after suffering a heart attack but unfortunately, she could not survive and died earlier today.
The LRH director Khalid Masood and medical director Dr. Suleiman Khan confirmed the news and expressed deep regret over the death of the singer.
The body of the deceased was dispatched to her residence by ambulance. The singer used to sing in Pashto and Urdu.
Nationally and internationally, the art of Qazilbash was greatly appreciated. The singer also did a lot of work in Urdu lyrics.
The well-known singer’s political affiliation was with the incumbent government.
