Pakistani female mountaineer Samar Khan successfully scaled Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak of South America. It was reported on Friday.
The peak is located in Argentina at a height of 6,961 meters. Mountaineer Samar Khan achieved this milestone amid challenging weather accompanied by strong winds.
The adventurer thanked Almighty Allah for granting her the opportunity for achieving this success. She said that she won this honour with the blessings of Almighty Allah and prayers of her parents, relatives and well-wishers.
It is necessary to mention here that Mount Aconcagua is the highest peak outside Asia.

In June last year, Khan ascended Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, and snowboarded down, becoming the first Pakistani woman to achieve this milestone.

It is worth mentioning that Khan is a trailblazing adventure athlete. She is the first woman in the world to have cycled on the third largest non-polar glacial system, the Biafo and Godwin-Austen Glaciers in the Karakoram mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan. In 2017, she also became the first Pakistani to cycle on the roof of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro.
