Pakistan’s passport improves in global ranking

The Henley Passport Index 2026 has been released, according to which the global ranking of the Pakistani passport has improved.

According to the Henley Passport Index report, Pakistan has improved by 3 places from 103rd to 100th position.

According to the report, citizens holding Pakistani passports can now travel to 30 countries of the world with visa-free or visa-on-arrival facilities, due to which Pakistan’s global ranking has improved.

According to the Henley Passport Index 2026, the Singaporean passport has once again been declared the most powerful passport in the world.

Citizens of Singapore have the facility of visa-free or visa-on-arrival travel to 192 countries of the world.

According to the ranking, Japan, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are jointly in second place, while the Swedish passport remained in third place.

The report states that the United States has come in tenth place despite having visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 180 countries.

On the other hand, the Afghan passport has been declared the weakest passport in the world. According to the Henley Passport Index, Syria is ranked 102nd, Iraq 101st, Pakistan 100th and Yemen 99th.
