The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh has announced province-wide protest rallies under the slogan “Marsoon Marsoon, Sindhu Na Desoon” (“We will die, but we will not surrender the Indus”) against what it described as India’s “water aggression.”

The announcement was made by PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro in a statement.

He said the rallies would be held at all district headquarters across Sindh on Sunday (July 12) following a call by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Khuhro directed all district chapters of the party to organize large-scale demonstrations and ensure maximum public participation in the protests, which he said were aimed at opposing attempts to deprive Pakistan of its water resources.
