Pakistani Hockey legend Sohail Abbas joins Malaysian Hockey team as assistant coach

Another Pakistani sports talent has gone abroad as renowned penalty corner specialist and world record holder, Sohail Abbas, has joined Malaysian hockey.

Sohail Abbas will serve as the assistant coach for the Malaysian hockey team, focusing on improving the team’s penalty corner techniques.

An agreement has been finalized between Sohail Abbas and the Malaysian Hockey Federation, and he is expected to depart for Malaysia in the coming days.

This marks Sohail Abbas’s first international coaching contract since his retirement.
