Marrying at an old age is not common in Pakistan and is also considered a vice, but sometimes such incidents happen that surprise everyone. The marriage of a 90-year-old cleric in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is one such incident.
The details of the incident are that 90-year-old Maulana Saifullah demanded that his four sons get him married, on which the obedient sons found a bride and fulfilled their father’s heartfelt wish.
This incident took place in Bisham city of Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The wedding ceremony was attended by children, grandchildren, and people of the area. The Haq-e-Mehar  was one tola of gold.
This incident seems shocking, interesting, and somewhat unusual to hear, especially in the context of Pakistan’s social attitudes and traditional views.
Generally, people do not expect that a person at the age of 90 will remarry, and that too with the help of his sons.
