Makeup artist and actress Nadia Hussain revealed that after the recent tension and war between Pakistan and India, at an event held in Lahore, Pakistani singers performed Indian songs, and the audience also enjoyed it a lot.
According to details, Nadia Hussain recently participated in the ‘FHM’ podcast, where she spoke openly on various matters. During the program, she also expressed disappointment over the silence of artists regarding the Pakistan-India tension and said that in such circumstances, everyone should have spoken up.
According to her, generally artists avoid talking about political matters, but the tension between Pakistan and India was not a political issue; it was beyond political tension. She said that all Pakistani artists should have stood with the country and spoken openly.
She added that it is possible some artists were prevented from making statements by their PR teams or companies, but this was a wrong strategy. Talking more about this issue, she said that after the tension and war between the two countries, she attended an inauguration event of a restaurant in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, where Indian songs were sung, and the guests were very happy.
Nadia Hussain said that she felt bad about Pakistani singers singing Indian songs at the event after the recent war and also complained to the event organizing team. Without naming any singer, she said that despite the recent war situation, Pakistani singers sang Indian songs, and even after her complaints, Indian songs were performed at the event.
Nadia Hussain further revealed that she told the young girls present at the event to complain about the Indian songs, but the girls refused to complain. According to her, the girls and young people attending the event kept enjoying the Indian songs; she said that there is no harm in playing Indian songs because our own songs are not good.
