According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to be mostly clear in Kandy City at 7 pm, with the temperature around 27 degrees Celsius while the real feel will be 28 degrees Celsius.
Although the sky will remain clear, the level of air pollution has been reported to be relatively bad, which can cause problems, especially for people suffering from respiratory diseases.
The Meteorological Department says that the humidity ratio will remain at 68 percent, due to which the atmosphere will be very humid. The dew point has been recorded at 20 degrees Celsius, which indicates a high level of humidity in the air.
Pakistan will play its crucial match against England in the T20 World Cup Super Eights today.
Light winds from the northwest will blow at a speed of 6 km per hour, while gusts can reach 13 km per hour at times. the cloud cover will be only 14 percent and the visibility will be clear up to 16 km.
It should be remembered that earlier the Super Eights match between Pakistan and New Zealand was canceled due to rain.
The rain started immediately after Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and announced to bat first, and after more than two and a half hours, the umpires decided to end the match, as a result of which both teams were given one point each.
