The Government of Pakistan has announced a revision in fuel prices, increasing the price of high-speed diesel while slightly reducing the price of petrol, effective July 30.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs2.24 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs390.62 per liter.
Meanwhile, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs0.75 per liter, lowering the new retail price to Rs335.06 per liter.
The revised fuel prices will take effect on July 30, as outlined in the official notification.
The latest adjustment follows the government’s previous fuel price revision, announced a day earlier, when the price of diesel was increased by Rs1.55 per liter and petrol by Rs1.63 per liter.
